Art in the Real World

December 6th, 2005, The Gatehouse Restaurant, Providence

Thanks to contributions from our local arts and business community, the fundraiser was a great success. The evening at the Gatehouse was beautiful, the food was delicious, and a number of new people were introduced to our mission.

High bidders went home with terrific deals, but most importantly people went home with a great sense of satisfaction having supported our grass roots Learning Center.

Thanks to Councilman Kevin Jackson, Council President John Lombardi, and of course, the Honorable David N. Cicilline, Mayor of Providence for their ongoing support.

Special thanks to Marjorie Flynn at RISD's Illustration Department without whom the event would not have been possible.
