School
Age Programs
Some activities at the Mt. Hope Learning Center are on going,
such as our one-on-one tutoring and homework help. Other classes
are offered in twelve-week cycles, some of which repeat several
times a year. As new volunteers work with us to create new offerings,
we often try new educational activities such as Slimy Science,
Rock Climbing, Paper Maché, Sculpture, the Creatures of
Narragansett Bay and Improvisational Theatre. We strive to excite
children's curiosity with visual, hands-on, project-based, and
contextual learning activities, which motivate them to love learning.
