Volunteers

The Mt. Hope Learning Center is volunteer-driven.

Over 450 volunteers rehabilitated our facility at 140 Cypress Street. Over 140 businesses donated labor and materials. Over 700 volunteers have provided the Learning Center with vital help since 1998. Currently we need more than 70 volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring, homework help, teaching, music lessons, building maintenance, plants/gardening, cooking classes, arts & crafts, and committee work. We know your time is valuable to you and it is extremely mportant to us. Come visit us, speak with staff, take a tour, meet the community and fill out a volunteer application. We can be as flexible as need be if you are willing to give us a little of your time, effort and talent.
